  • iGaming Ontario and the grey market
  • Interac e-Transfer and CAD banking
  • welcome bonus wagering terms

Scarlett has written about Canadian online gambling since 2016. She started on the payments side, reconciling e-transfer disputes for a Vancouver processor, which is where she learned that the interesting part of a casino is not the signup page but the cashier.

For this page she registered at all fifteen operators from a British Columbia IP address, deposited the smallest amount each cashier would take, claimed or declined the welcome offer, and then asked for the money back. What each site demanded before paying, and how long it took, is recorded per operator.

She is not a lawyer and does not pretend to be. Where this page touches regulation it points at the AGCO and iGaming Ontario rather than paraphrasing the Criminal Code.

How These Canadian Casinos Are Tested

Method

Scarlett tests from British Columbia using a Canadian bank account and a Canadian IP address. Every operator is treated identically: register, deposit the minimum, request a withdrawal. Where a site asked for documents before releasing funds, that wait is counted in the total rather than excluded from it.

  1. Register from a Canadian IP address using Canadian details.
  2. Deposit the minimum the cashier will accept, in the currency the site quotes.
  3. Claim or decline the welcome offer, recording the wagering multiple from the terms rather than the banner.
  4. Request a withdrawal and record which documents are demanded, and when.
  5. Count the wait from request to funds, including any document check.

What This Site Does Not Claim

Scarlett is not a lawyer and nothing here is legal or tax advice. Where this site touches regulation it points at the AGCO and iGaming Ontario rather than interpreting the law for you.

The operators ranked here are offshore. They are not licensed by iGaming Ontario or any Canadian regulator, and a dispute is handled by whichever authority issued the operator its licence.

Where an operator does not publish a figure the cell is left empty rather than filled with an estimate. An empty cell means unpublished, not zero.
